This week Bournemouths most glamorous and glitzy diner is celebrating its one year anniversary... and it has a lot to celebrate. When they opened their doors owner Les Parodi had never before ventured into the hospitality industry. However, combining inspiration from both his experiences living in America and his son Calums passion for anything Hollywood - Starz Diner was born. His attention to detail, realisation for a gap in the market and emphasis on customer service has certainly paid off. The result is a fun buzzing diner during the day and a sensational evening experience which just seems to be getting busier and busier.

The food is contemporary American diner themed - anything and everything from the infamous Fat Boy Breakfast (a favourite cure on Sunday mornings) to the monster foot long hotdog, yummy American pancakes, homemade New York cheesecake... whilst definitely not forgetting those delicious burgers. Drinks complement this stateside themed menu with Ben and Jerry’s milkshakes, Glaceau vitamin water (as endorsed by president Obama no less) and all your favourite cocktails as well as wines personally recommended by “Master of Wine” Richard Bampfield.

The decor is chic, glitzy and very Hollywood. Black and white photos of all the most glamorous movie stars cover the walls and ceiling. The latest lighting technology creates a fantastic evening ambience and a surround sound music system will get you tapping your feet to all your favourite classic tunes from the 50's and 60s.

With no expense spared in creating this one of a kind venue, it's not hard to see why this place has become a firm favourite on the Bournemouth scene. With its reputation rivalling the big Bournemouth bars it's time to head on down to see what all the fuss is about.
